About Lina

Lina is a full-time marketing and communications professional, aspiring author, beauty connoisseur and fledgling gardener with a passion for travel. She currently works as a content marketing manager for an economic development and tourism marketing agency based in New York.

 

Lina graduated from the Ferris State University College of Business in 2017, where she earned her Bachelor of Business in public relations. After graduation, Lina left the small, rural town she grew up in to begin her career in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She spent nearly four years managing marketing efforts for West Michigan's leading economic development organization before transitioning to agency life, marketing destinations around the globe to help them attract visitors, businesses and talent.

When she's not drafting digital marketing strategies or discussing SEO optimization plans, Lina likes to spend time with her first love: writing.

 

Lina discovered her knack for writing while in high school (circa 2010) and enjoyed crafting fantastical stories to share with her friends and family. Many years (and worn manuscripts crammed into backpacks) later, Lina began pursuing her writing career more seriously. She recently completed her first YA fantasy novel and has several other works, including a sequel, underway.
